A Season in Song:
Exploring Life Stories, Memory & Meaning Through Music & Art
A 4-Week Music & Art Series
Music has a remarkable way of holding our lives. A song can transport us to a particular person, place, relationship, or moment, sometimes bringing forward memories and emotions we haven't visited in years. What we hear in a song today may also be very different from what we heard in it then.
A Season in Song invites you to return to a meaningful season of your life through the music that was part of it. Whether that season held joy, grief, transition, discovery, uncertainty, love, loss, or becoming, your chosen songs can offer a doorway into the stories and experiences that shaped you.
Over four weeks, we will listen deeply, reflect together, and explore what these songs held for you then and what they may reveal to you now. Through mixed-media art, you will gradually create a visual album cover that gives form to the memories, emotions, and meaning held within your musical journey.
This is an invitation to listen back with curiosity, honor the person you were, and notice what has changed, what remains, and what you may want to carry forward.
All mixed-media art supplies will be provided.
6–8 participants | 1 hour 45 minutes weekly
1:30 PM -2:45 PM
